scanningbureauBook copiers

Ideal for fronts of libraries, Zeutschel’s book copiers offer face-up scanning, eliminating the need to flatten books against a glass plate and preventing spine damage. Connect the scanner to a printer to print copies, or save the scanned pages as JPEGs, PDFs or TIFFs. Pages can be previewed and corrected, preventing wasted printouts. B&W copies are processed in 1 second; colour copies in 4 seconds.

Zeutschel highlights

  • Heat, UV and infra-red light are not present - Zeutschel's scanners are ideal for scanning fragile, sensitive and historical documents.
  • The scanner light source is far away from the scanning table and angled to prevent reflection.
  • The OS14000 scanners are the only ones in the world to meet NARA (US National Archives and Records Administration) and Metamorfoze (Europe) standards.
  • Zeutschel scanners deliver excellent image quality – fast, 64 bit processing of large amounts of data.
  • Perfect Book software auto-corrects spine curvature and shadow. No need to flatten books against a glass plate.
  • OS12 software offers sophisticated image enhancement, adjustment and correction - in parallel with scanning. It also enables simultaneous capture of metadata (e.g. book title, page numbers, etc.), output as CSV or XML.
